Devotion to the Two Hearts
Behind every action and service, the spirituality that moves the OATH is this.
The Alliance of the Two Hearts is about the special connection between the hearts of Jesus and Mary. Jesus, through His Sacred Heart, shows us pure love and sacrifice. Mary, through her Immaculate Heart, shows complete trust and devotion to God.
Even though Jesus is God and Mary is human, they have this deep bond. Mary isn’t just Jesus’ mother; she’s also His first follower, always there beside Him in God’s mission to bring love and healing to the world. Together, their hearts remind us of their shared purpose: Jesus guiding us to salvation, and Mary leading us to Him.
When we see their hearts together, like on the Miraculous Medal, it’s a powerful symbol of how they work together to bring hope and healing to the world. It’s a reminder for us to let their love inspire us to live with faith, love, and purpose, just like they did.
Communion of Reparation
The First Friday-First Saturday devotion is a simple but powerful way to bring peace to our homes, the Church, and society. It’s about honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary through prayer, confession, the Rosary, and Communion.
In today’s world, where there’s so much division and chaos, Jesus’ call for reparation is more urgent than ever. Prayer and sacrifice are powerful tools to fight against these struggles and keep families united. The First Fridays and First Saturdays devotions help us stay close to Jesus and Mary, bringing us blessings and graces in tough times.
Mary said at Fatima that devotion to her Immaculate Heart would help save souls. By practicing these devotions, we can bring healing and hope to our families and the world.
Home Enthronements
The OATH do not just focus on young people; they also work to bring families closer to God. By introducing families to the Two Hearts of Jesus and Mary through home enthronements, they help families center their lives on faith. This involves dedicating their homes to Jesus and Mary, praying together, attending Mass, and living a lifestyle of faith and reparation.
Parents play a big role in this mission. As the first teachers of faith, they’re encouraged to lead family prayers, guide their kids in the faith, and create a home rooted in Christian values. OATH missionaries offer support and resources, but the real transformation comes from parents taking the lead in their homes. Together, missionaries and families build a stronger, faith-filled community.
